It’s a great local favorite of mine. I know the idea of drive-thru Italian might discourage some people. However, the quality of the food here is unmatched for the price you pay. The ambiance when you walk in is one that reminds you of a classic, cozy, five star Italian eatery. As soon as you walk in, you can order from the counter from a wide variety of dishes. A waiter will come out and deliver the food to your table whenever it is ready.
My favorite dishes are the chicken and broccoli Alfredo pasta and the margherita pizza. The Alfredo is always well done. Both the chicken and the broccoli are tender and plentiful in the dish. The sauce is creamy and flavorful but not overwhelming to the point of discomfort. And the pasta itself is cooked to a delicious texture.
The crust of the margherita pizza is well done. Often times, the crusts for thin crust pizza can be easily burnt. The crust is perfect with a softer doughy inside and just the perfect amount of crunchiness on the outside. The tomatoes and basil taste fresh and they use the right amount of cheese so as not to overwhelm any of the topping flavors.
Oh yeah and don’t forget about the complimentary bread with olive oil and vinegar. The only criticism is that quality can be inconsistent. Sometimes the bread is wonderfully warm and chewy. However, during other visits, the bread can be kind of hard and cold. The majority of the time it is the former though.
Overall, it’s definitely worth a try. You would be hard pressed to find a better Italian place at this price range.
This was my first time here. When I saw the place from the outside I really didn’t think much of it.
When I went it, the place was not too big and didn’t look all fancy or anything. I ordered my meal, and went outside to the patio area where my group had made reservations. The patio area is nice and well covered. It’s fairly large for large groups. Our group was about 35 people. It fit us all no problem.
Bread was brought to all the tables. The bread was super soft and delicious. Had a lot of flavor. I loved the fact that it was so soft with full of flavor but not too salty.
My food was brought to me. I ordered the Southwestern wrap and caprese salad.
My Southwestern wrap was huge. It came with fries as well. Once I bit into the wrap, I was very impressed. It was really good. I mean really good. Probably one of the better Southwestern wraps I have ever had. The fries were just as good. They were super crispy with tons of flavor. It was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I would have loved to have eaten the whole wrap but it was too big for me.
The caprese salad was very good too. It was a large plate which I didn’t expect. I thought it was going to be smaller but it was not. I ended up sharing it with the people on my table. It was really good. Good sized tomatoes to cheese. Not more cheese than tomatoes or more tomatoes than cheese but they complimented each other perfectly. The dressing on it was light and not too heavy where it over powers the cheese.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience from here. I was really impressed with the food and service. I plan on going back here to try the other foods as I truly was impressed with the quality of the food here.
For catering only: We ordered a full tray of sausage lasagna, full tray of chicken pesto bow tie pasta, and a half tray of vegetali pasta. It came with a large circular plate of bread and they also provided olive oil, vinegar and Parmesan cheese.
Everything was delicious and my guests commented about how good the food was and asked where it was from.
We had 31 adults and 11 kids, and there was plenty for everyone- most of the lasagna was finished, but we still had about 1/3 of the chicken pesto left and about 2/3 of the veggie pasta left.
God I love Italian food. I ordered the spinach ravioli, and should I have? I carb’d it up before the plate was even conceptualized.
Speaking of bread, it’s amazing here. Try to limit yourself but it ain’t gonna happen. Give in. Oprah loves bread, why can’t you? There’s olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table. Pour both all over your body because you’ve eaten so much bread, and after all, you are what you eat.
Spinach ravioli was incredible. The pasta was perfectly seasoned with artichokes, sundried tomatoes, and was in a light cream sauce. Ugh, then a waiter came by with cheese and let it snow all over my ravioli.
Ravioli, ravioli give me the formuloli – to this perfect pasta. I can’t wait to come back! Thank god my chubby friend loves this place. It’s a shame they don’t have a frequent visitor card.
